Islam—A Worldview of Difference, Part 2

Thank you for your prayers. My surgery went well.

It is the post-op that I am wrestling with. I cannot remember the last time pain brought tears to my eyes, but last night brought them both. It is so nice to have a loving wife brush them away.

Although she was reluctant, I finally talked her into getting my laptop so that I could give you an update and offer one thought regarding our topic of radical Islam. So, through the pain, the light-headedness of sitting up, the waves of nausea, and the fogginess that pain medication brings, I will try to get something coherent down on screen.

For those of you who have been through the Truth Project, you know that I believe our number one objective in life is reflected in how Jesus defined eternal life:

“Now this is eternal life: that they may know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.” (John 17:3)

Bound up in the definition of eternal life is the reality of knowing God and Jesus Christ. I can’t think of a higher objective in life than to pursue Him. And, in Colossians 2:3, we are told that all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge are found in Christ. If we want to pursue truth, we must begin by gazing upon His face. I have long enjoined my students, over and over again, that whenever we come to any area of worldview or begin to wrestle with any weighty issue, we must always begin here, turning our attention to His nature, character and being. It is the attempt to answer the question: “Who is God?” So, if we are to try to understand the differences between the worldviews of Islam and biblical Christianity, we must begin here. How do each answer this question?

Okay, that is the limit of my ability today. The letters and words are swimming around and so am I.

We’ll see what tomorrow brings.

Thank you Dr. Tackett for all that you do for the glory and honor of God.
Sweet blessings to you and your family as you recover.
Our bible study is tape 11 of the Truth Project.

Thanks for getting us back to the scriptures, and focusing on the Nature, character and BEING of Our Father and HIS ONLY SON, Jesus Christ. I think of how our Pastor(coming to DC to attend the Pastors’s gathering with FRC) was so shocked seeing the banner waving at Reagan In’t Airport that boldly proclaimed ‘Alah is God and he HAS NO SON’. Talk about a difference in worldview! The Sonship of God speaks to the heart of relationship that our Father God puts above all else. BEING. His being is with us, loving us and HIS SON. All else HE is flows out of this overwhelming love. Dr Tacket, I feel this love and zeal, the father’s love, flowing out of you as you write and speak in such a reasurring and reasonable way to our minds, when we are afraid sometimes when we see the storms gathering; and forget that God’s Unfailing LOVE controls all HE does. Thank you for taking the effort to call me back to this truth, even during your own pain and recovery. Blessings; blessings to you and your family. We need your assured voice at this time. We are in lesson 11 of the Truth Project; a KAIROS word today.

    Dr. Tackett,

There are a couple of things about the world view of Islam that are very troubling to me.

One is that Mohammed taught that when you aren’t able to win you make a peace treaty, then re-arm and when strong enough attack again. This is the tactic that was used against Mecca when he defeated it after fleeing to Medina in 622 A.D.

The second is far more dangerous. Mohammed taught that if it will further the advance of Islam, it is OK to lie.

So, keeping these two things in mind, how do we know we can trust any Muslim? Their own writings betray them. They call Christians and Jews the enemy and parts of the Koran say they should not have them as friends or that they should be killed by good Muslims.

How do we work with them? Should we? I don’t have the answers to these and other questions.

    What’s your opinion?

    Sincerely,
    David Bella

    Dr. Tackett,
May God speed your recovery and continue to use you as a mighty voice in these last days! We attended training at Focus for The Truth Project last June. We had the pleasure of meeting you personally as we toured Focus Institute with our teenage son… I wanted to thank you for taking a moment out of your busy day; we were very appreciative of your time and what you are doing with our young people! We are at the end of our second Truth Project group. I have seen a lot of “light bulbs” popping on as we have gone through each lesson! This is exciting to me knowing that our time may be short but that there is still a plan for involvement from our Lord’s church. We are planning with our Youth Pastor to do another group for our youth and college/career this fall. I can’t wait to see what the Lord will do! Thank you for your wisdom and the relevance of the message you are teaching, you have been a blessing to our whole family and many others worldwide.
    Sincerely,
    Deborah Smith

    Del,
Just a word of encouragement as you struggle with the post-op pain. Our adult Sunday School will be starting lesson 12 tommorrow of the Truth Project and I pray that we have come away with a much deeper understanding of God’s truth for us in our lives. We spent extra Sunday’s on the science lessons to further debunk the lies of Darwin’s evolution theory. We actually had guest speakers-12th grade high school seniors- who gave their class speeches they had prepared exposing the many fallacies of evolutionery thinking. As a veterinarian myself I often marvel at God’s creation power in the animals I see and the healing powers he gave to them and to our bodies as well. I pray for God’s healing power to be present in your body as well.
As I read the Isalm subject I would like to point out that our unsatiable appetite for energy(oil) is what is funding these Islamic fundamentalits facists. In the movie “Amazing Grace”, what struck me was that as soon as the funding for the slave trade was dried up, the law to illegalize the slave trade could be passed. Maybe this is an oversimplification of a complex subject and maybe not. We need to become better stewards of our natural resources and do more for sustainable energy sources and conservation and be less addicted to foriegn oil and fund the Islamic movement less.

God’s blessings through Jesus Christ His Son our Savior

I can only pray that the care that you get from those you are in the care of is as blessed as the care you spread by way of the “Truth Project.”
I was in Charlotte at the first conference and just finished my third small group study. My eyes and mind hunger for truth and God’s word and the word of his faithful stewards. Thank you for your witness and testimony. I am currently reading “Jesus Among Other Gods” by Ravi Zacharias which deals with Islam and the other relgions and corresponding worldviews. Another good book that might be helpful beyond the postings available through this venue is “Unveiling Islam” by the Caner brothers who lay out surahs juxtaposed with biblical scripture as noted by the converted Muslim’s to Christianity. I look forward to your posting on this profound worldview that not only stands in opposition to the Truth claims of God but threatens Western Civilazation as we know it.
    your brother in Christ.

Tomorrow didn’t bring any additional commentary, nor did the next day, but I’ll keep checking back…..I pray you are getting through recovery, I pray you’ll continue to lead us in this “Islam-WorldView of difference” discussion and get us into many more.
    God Bless You,

    Dr. Tackett,
I just found your blog, and I’m so sorry to hear that you are not feeling well during this recovery time. Of course I’ll be praying . . .

My husband and I attended the Rockford, Ill. Truth Project seminar, and we’ll finally be leading our first class in June. I’m so excited I can hardly stand it! I can’t wait to share The Truth Project with others.

May God continue to bless you and your family.

Although I eagerly await the resumption of this series, I encourage you to take it easy. I never understood why my patients complained about fatigue so much after surgery until I went through it myself. It drains you much more than you think it will.

Hang in there, and our prayers are with you.

  10. Bill Trask on May 20th, 2007 5:13 pm

    Dr. Tackett,
What a great subject for your blog! I will be watching intently for the dialogue between you and your readers during the upcoming weeks.

The reason for my post is that I have just completed a course called “Encountering the World of Islam”
(www.encounteringislam.org) . It was the best course I have ever taken! Not only did I learn about Islam, I learned about my own faith and my heart for all God’s people.

Most people don’t know anything about Islam and most don’t have any Muslims friends. All we know is what we read in the newspaper, see on TV or hear on the radio and because of that, most people see Muslims as terrorists or feel that most Muslims support terrorism. This leads to fear, which intensifies the negative feelings that lead to misunderstandings and retaliation toward all Muslims instead of directing our energy to defeating the terrorists.

The fact is, Muslims are lost in a dogmatic culture and most important, they are without Hope – and the interesting thing is that well educated Muslims will agree they have absolutely no assurance that they will enter paradise on Judgment Day.
If we are true “followers of Jesus” each of us must educate ourselves about Islamic cultures and reach out to Muslims in the work place and community to shine the light of Christ into their world.

I am sure you know about the EWI course and the book (written by Keith Swartley). But if you don’t I recommend you and your readers consider enrolling for this course at their earliest opportunity.

Thanks for all you have done and are doing to promulgate truth in the world today.

Pain - As we stand before a God who is indeed an all-consuming fire we are faced with two choices. One is to turn away. The other is to allow that pain to subsume what it is that we are into itself. There are no other options. For those who yield to a living God there is the expectation and that hope sustains us when all else fails us.

    Death preceeds life.

EVERYTHING and ANYTHING I hold dear to me has come to me through pain. The lessons of life. The hope of the Ressurection. The knowledge of self and God.

Can we even begin to imagine the pain contained in the phrase, “My God, my God… Why have You forsaken me?”

And yet - THROUGH that great pain, borne be He who loves even me, I have hope.

Lord, slay me with Your love.

Dr. Tackett - You will be healed, of that there is no doubt. The mechanism of that healing remains to be seen. You are in our prayers.

    Dear Dr. Tackett,
I am delighted to find your Blog! I have composed so many letters in my head and now I find a place to pen my grateful thoughts. Tonight we finished the TRUTH PROJECT! I am awed and overwhelmed with all that was presented. You are so easy to follow and listen to though there were times that concepts went over my head. I trust that the Lord will bring them back as I have need of them. What I do wish is that there was a PRINTED workbook of your exact words for each lesson with the printed quotes from scholars and our founding fathers. There was sooo much good information, too much to capture at once. How I would like to go back and review quotes and re read some of your thoughts and concepts. After each session, the room would be silent as we sat there and pondered what you had just shared with us. Thank you. To God be the Glory. It has been my prayer for a long time to know Jesus in a more intimate way and to make Him known to a hurting and dying world–but it has always been “how”. I will continue to seek our Lord for direction–as I reach out to my “neighbors”. I can not begin to thank you enough for a job well done. God Bless and keep you in His Care. I pray you are continually getting stronger with each passing day.

How ironic it is the way in which God and our faith in the fact that His Son, Jesus, walked this earth, preached forgiveness, died for our sins and now sits at the right hand of God the Father. I recently underwent a moderately severe surgery and had faith in the fact that if I did not wake up that He would allow me to enter His eternal kingdom. I praise the work that went into the development of The Truth Project. I can say with absolute certainty that going through the Tours my faith and understanding in the World View has been greatly enhanced. I am now looking forward to working with the current leader in an expanded program which is being proposed in our Church. Dr. Tackett has a home run with The
Truth Project. I pray for the continued success of Focus on the Family and in particular The Truth Project.

  14. Keely Gohl on May 21st, 2007 3:48 pm

    Dr. Tackett,

I appreciate your comments on what you were facing prior to surgery. I just had a c-section in March and then had to have gall bladder surgery in April (something that I’m coming to understand is quite common). Prior to both - I told my husband I loved him and I always will. Never can we be certain that it isn’t God’s will that our last day be today.

I really appreciate your comments on the pain medication and related effects. I spent the first 8 weeks of my daughter’s life not feeling well - nauseated, foggy, etc. and am just now getting to enjoy what a miracle she is and seeing how much (through experience) she is not a rat, is not a pig, etc.

We are running the Truth Project on Sunday nights at our church and are experiencing amazing transformations but also incredible opposition from the enemy. We pray for you constantly because it is so clear that the enemy does not want this series to be shown/delivered by the attacks on us, our church, etc. So - how much more so for you. Thank you for this material! It is truly changing lives and revitalizing a congregation!

  15. Joe on May 22nd, 2007 6:24 am

I am commenting on some of the posts from part 1 of this as well.

I listened to the Dobson program with Joel part 2 and Joel definitely advocated the pray, give and go answer to Islam. Matthew 28 looms.

Are we willing? A few posts indicated that it was men and governments that God uses to deal with evil and terrorists and that we need to defend our nation and borders.

Well, God does use governments to accomplish His goals. I think it a bit naive to assume what those are at this point. I have not had a specific vision on this myself.

What I do know, and this is absolutely clear in scripture, that the church is God’s main tool for dealing with the world. The church, confessing Christ in all things has already won. The cross reminds us of this. The resurrection of Christ has conquered fear, sin, death and the grave.

Christ has defeated all the evil powers. Do we believe this? What do we fear then? What can a radical Muslim take from us that Jesus has given?

Look at the history of the church under Nero, under Hitler, Stalin, today in the Sudan and elsewhere where they confess Christ to their peril.

Christianity was born in a society that killed followers of Jesus. Look at the disciples (John was exiled) and Paul.

Why do we think it should be any different today?

  16. Chris R. on May 22nd, 2007 1:01 pm

    Dear Dr. Tackett,

A very interesting topic (the worldview of Islam as compared to a Biblical worldview)… one of depth and relevance for all. Christ commanded His disciples in the context of sending them into the world:

“Behold, I send you out as sheep in the midst of wolves. Therefore be wise as serpents and harmless as doves. Mat 10:16

First off, Christ Himself has sent us out into the world. He alone bears the responsibility of our well being, spiritually and physically, as we respond to His call with obedience. There is no question that, amidst the turmoil and great joy of witnessing to a dying world for our Savior, we would face persecution and even death. A number of writers here have intimated this concept to date. The final earthly words of Christ, as written in the Great Commission, have given us a verbal push out the door, if you will.

There is an unequivocal expectation, as Matthew 10:16 indicates, that we will be performing our acts of obedience among those who would figuratively like to devour us. i.e. aggressive and extreme Muslim factions. This verse not only recommends but commands that we exercise cunning with acute wisdom thus protecting us from unnecessary exposure to danger in addition to calm discretion and trust. Nowhere, however, does scripture indicate that the risk of danger and martyrdom negates the commandments of Christ to present the Gospel to the lost of the world.

This said, I have recognized an inconsistency with a statement of yours in Part 1 of this series where you stated: “The world before 9/11 is nothing like the world of today.” This is a common perception, or misconception. There are recorded acts of intense Muslim aggression throughout the world stemming from our current time back through 1400 years of history. I will name just a few contemporary imperialistic incidents or campaigns and even genocidal activities so as to not overburden this forum:

    1. Muslim forces’ oppression of Christians ongoing in the Sudan. Since 1983, over 2 million people have died from war and related famine. About 4.5 million have become refugees.

    2. The decades-long subjugation of Christian people at the hands of Muslims in Nigeria.

    3. Muslim terrorist organizations such as al Qaeda, the PLO, Hamas, etc. perpetrating acts of violence on various world people-groups for decades.

You could fill hundreds of pages with the atrocities committed by those claiming allegiance to Mohammed. My point being that this is not a new geopolitical phenomenon with its inception on September 11, 2001. Also, my focus is not to disparage an entire cultural/religious group consisting of over one billion people world wide. That would be unproductive. We must, however, recognize the impending danger for what it is… a danger that currently threatens the very lives we live as Americans, as Christians, whether we choose to acknowledge the facts or not.

Another chunk of research that could be undertaken by your readers would be to dig further into the foundations of terrorism. Who or what is truly facilitating the proliferation of muslim jihadi groups? The question must be asked and answered to fully understand our highly aggressive adversaries. The empirical data exists and is rather easy to compile from open source outlets should one choose to embark upon this course.

I very much look forward to the continuation of this subject matter. I hope that I did not extend too far off the focus of this discussion.

    Yours in Christ,

  17. john cummins on May 23rd, 2007 12:30 pm

    Dr. Tackett,
Christopher states, “This said, I have recognized an inconsistency with a statement of yours in Part 1 of this series where you stated: “The world before 9/11 is nothing like the world of today.” This is a common perception, or misconception.

(And I have to heartily agree. Mr. Tackett did you really mean this?) If so, you do need to explain. IF you mean that draconian laws implemented nearly instantly by congress in the form of the Patriot Acts (wow, were they ever misnamed) were developed that mainly strip our freedoms, then you are right. If not, please explain!!!)

    Christopher continues:

There are recorded acts of intense Muslim aggression throughout the world stemming from our current time back through 1400 years of history. I will name just a few contemporary imperialistic incidents or campaigns and even genocidal activities so as to not overburden this forum:

    1. Muslim forces’ oppression of Christians ongoing in the Sudan. Since 1983, over 2 million people have died from war and related famine. About 4.5 million have become refugees.

You could fill hundreds of pages with the atrocities committed by those claiming allegiance to Mohammed.

(Again, Chris is correct. Mr. Tackett do you realize that Captain John Smith founder of Jamestown fought the Moslems in 1600 in Budapest? Was captured by them? Taken to Constantinople? Escaped? Fled to Russia? And then finally back to Britain?

Did you realize that Oglethorpe fought the Albanian Moslems in Serbia (protecting the Christian Serbia…the opposite of what Clintone did, all, before founding Georgia??????)

    Chris emphasizes,
My point being that this is not a new geopolitical phenomenon with its inception on September 11, 2001.

(Again, NOT, NOT, NOT. And I would emphasize it is not “radical” moslems at all but those faithful to the Quran that attack the west, that are militant, etc….this, is the nature of this miscreant worldview. Let’s not confuse by using words like Islamo-Fascist or Radical Moslems. They are only Radical in the sense that they are grassroots. NO, 911 was simply a return to the norm. for the Moslem v. Christian war of the ages. The only viable worldviews that are fighting for world dominion remain: Christian, Moslem, and Humanist OR Athens v. Jerusalem v. Mecca.)

Chris is also correct that we basically need to be aware as westerners of the danger. Is it worse than Humanism? IMHO, NO. But it is a danger.

    Hi Del

My wife and I have hosted the Truth Project twice a week for the past 26 or so weeks. In Jan of this year our church had a showing of the movie “Obsesion: Radical Islam in the media.
Recently we presented it again with the help of a local Christian radio talk show host who advertised our showing. The station is KNGW which belongs to Salem Communications. In Sept of this year we will start back up with hosting of the Truth Project. Our objective is to have the station promote the Truth Project and increase the number of people we can reach.
The majority of the people who attended our first class came back for the second round, as they felt the content well worth seeing a second time. My wife and I and our church are major supporters of Isreal ( having been there ) and we have many former Muslum, Christians in our congreation. I am active in the process of exposing the agenda of the radical groups through the media in our area, and look forward to your blog.

    Best Regards

    Dear Del,
I can identify with you about the randomness of ponderosa pine trees damaged by the recent snow storm since I also live in the Black Forrest near the Fox Run Regional Park.

I just finished reading Joel Rosenberg’s best seller titled EPICENTER which describes how his prior novels came so close to reality of what is currently happening in the Middle East and how his understanding of prophecies in the Book of Ezekiel echoes what you are saying.

I volunteer for an organization here in town that works with Muslims on a daily basis and we are excited to learn that thousands are following Jesus rather than Mohammad. The universal church MUST address our proper response to the rapid spread of Islam throughout the world, and especially in our own back yard.

Praying for your quick and successful recovery.

  20. Joe Doyle on May 23rd, 2007 5:48 pm

    Dear Dr. Tackett,

I am almost finished seeing The Truth Project together with a bunch of Christians from College. After I am done, I was hoping to lead class at my Church. The Western Scientific world view is dominating the colleges and universities in Washington State, and I think every Christian student should see the complete Truth Project before the college Professors get at them. My Science 100 class focused contrasting the Western Scientific world view with the Judeo-Christian world view. My Professor’s goals was to shake us all up and help us to “get it” from his point of view.

Thanks for this new focus on the radical, fundamental world view. After being on the mission field for four years in a Muslim part of the world, and getting some training at Columbia University, I could agree more with the others on this post. I think this is just as important, if not more, than The Truth Project. The radical fundamental Islamists may not be in the majority, but they are in control of the religion and are becoming more and more successful in establishing the Islamic way of life and world view on the rest of the world.

In my Writing 105 class at college, I am writing a 15 page research and argument paper on the this topic. I am not sure I how to go about it, but one thing is for sure: If we cannot talk publicly about the Islamic world view and question it with critical minds on a nationwide level in America, there will be no stopping them from reaching their goals.

I believe the only answer to the problem is to go on the offence and stay on the defense at the same time. Offensively, the only answer is the gospel of Jesus Christ. We won’t be able to change everyone, but unless Muslims are radically saved from the inside out, there is no changing them. Also, since there will always be a hardened bunch of Muslims on the extreme end, we will also need to do every thing we can defensively so that we are not destroyed by them.

I also want to thank Bill Tusk for sharing the website “Encountering the World of Islam” (www.encounteringislam.org). This June I plan to begin the online course and help host a class in my area. Christians need to learning how to be effective in encountering the world of Islam beginning first in our “Jerusalem” and then extending to Canada, Mexico, Europe and then to the ends of the earth (see Acts 1:8). The gospel being lived and shared in the power of the Holy Spirit is the power unto the salvation of the Muslim. Nothing else will work, and no one else can do it if the Church will not.

Take courage, friends (1 Cor. 15:58).

I had the opertunity to speak to a woman while on a plane to Seattle about The Truth Project, as my study group was in the middle of it. Luckily I had the DVD’s with me and she and I watched a lesson during the flight… She was obviously blessed and excited about the course. It was the first time I ever recieved a hug from a fellow passenger. Of course explaining it to my co-worker (of another faith) allowed more doors to open.

    Greetings Dr. Tackett,
This past week Focus on the Family did a report which is available on 3 cde’s about being aware of the Islamic threat that our country is going through. I hope that you have a chance to review it. I was only able to hear the last day with Senator Rick Santorum. It opens ones eyes especially after watching your Truth Project & doing a study at our church on the “Day of the Lord” and His coming. Thank you for your part in awaking us, the american public, to where we have come from and where we are going if w do not wake up. I have just added to my reading Newt G’s book “Restoring God in America”. It protrays the momuments in Washington DC and the Christian influence that is displayed there. I also have found a book “A Cloud of Witnesses” by Northrop which also emphases our christain heritage. Again Bless you and may your strength continue to grow as you serve our risen Saviour.

How can any society endure when their enemy is willing to strap on a bomb and throw away his life to help destroy them? There is only one solution. They have to be brought into a relationship with THE GOD of LIFE. They need our God desperately. One very important thing we should all (Christians) be doing is praying for a worldwide outpouring of the Holy Spirit on this earth, especially on the Muslins.

  25. Lee Snead on May 24th, 2007 8:59 am

    Dear Dr. Tackett,

Thank you for tackling the important subject of Islam world view. I have friends serving as “creative access” missionaries in Moslem areas. One who leads a Bible discussion group of university students, all Moslem women, when she quoted something to them from the Koran she found that none of them have really read it and were surprised that she, a Christian had. In my own reading about Islam I am convinced that this is the status of a large majority of Moslems. They only know of the Koran what the Moslem teacher tell them. They are easily led. Unfortunately, to some degree, this may be said of a lot of Christians. They may love God and may even be saved through His Son but what they know of Scripture is mostly what they hear taught or preached. I attend a fine, evangelical church. Of the average 1400 to 1800 people who attend the worship service on a given Sunday only a small fraction bother to be taught in Sunday school. And we have some outstanding teachers.

One book I read, “Inside Islam” by Reza F. Safa tells Christians that Moslems can respond to love, God’s love, because Allah is not loving.

Sigh! Will God have to deal more severely with our country before we turn to Him?

    With Joy in the Lord,
    Lee

Dear Del, Thank you for all the wonderful insight. I agree that Islam is a big threat. My African-American students[teachers in training] are dealing with sons that have fallen away from Christianity and taken the road to what they think is the black man’s true path to greatness. This is increasing every year. My daughter’s place of business has one employed there and it seemed by chance for a birthday party serving pizza for the boss that who would eat the one without pork. My daughter had ordered it, she thought, for herself. The young man then identified his need and asked for some. God had provision for him. One of my t.v. engineers in college teaching and I shared the gospel after class one evening. My little knowledge of Hebrew language which has similarities to Arabic helped us jump into an in depth study of John 3:16, etc. He was just following his father’s teaching. His heart I know was touched by the Word of God. We were alone and uninterupted. God will reach out to them; but we as Christians must be every ready to witness the truth of the gospel in love. I have had many other experiences with Muslems in my career. God is faithful to reach every person. Please pray for the ones we personally have ministered to.

    Dear Dr. Tackett,

I’m not sure what kind of surgery you had, but I pray for a speedy recovery for you. Our church, Sagemont Church, in Houston, Texas will finish the Truth Project on Sunday, May 27, 2007. It has been the most eye-opening bible study I’ve ever attented. Praise God for a godly teacher like you!! My husband and I desperately want to see you in person. Perhaps we will be able to attend one of your conferences. Until then, we will listen to you on the Truth Project material we are buying.

    God Bless You and Yours!!

Just today, I received YESTERDAY’s answer to THIS MORNING’s prayer in the form of your May 23 e-mail re your teaching and offering a place to communicate with fellow Christians on Islam. I had prayed to be able to learn and discuss with people other than those who buy the media’s falsehoods hook, line and sinker and want only to argue their brainwashed viewpoints. What a wonderful day it has been perusing your blog and the comments. What a mighty God we serve!! Thank you for your obedience to His leading and thanks to each of those who’ve submitted comments. Let’s together “be diligent to present ourselves approved to God as workmen who don’t need to be ashamed, but handle accurately the word of truth.”

I am so excited you have started a blog Dr. Tackett! I have been blessed to sit through your class as well as the Truth Project (and in an international setting at that!). I am greatly looking forward to the discussions your thoughts provoke. I pray that you are recovering well. Blessings to you and your family!

In the dust of His feet,
    Brandi Jo

Sorry to hear that you have had surgery & are feeling the affects of it. We finished the Truth Project at our church in Jan. It was a very eye opening journey. You kept all of our attention as you taught & it was hard to believe how fast the time went as we watched each lesson. After the lessons we would all sit there & process what you had taught. WOW was said a lot! Some of it was hard to understand but it still taught us how powerful, loving, and true is the One True God that we serve. He became much bigger in each of our eyes. The price that Jesus paid so that we could live for Him is Awesome. Thanks so much for the time you took to put The Truth Project together. It has blessed our church. I’m so glad that I got the priviledge to attend The Truth Project at Rockford, IL. That was a great blessing from God.
Get well soon & our prayers are with you.

The size of your letter is very small. When I tried to change the size to a bigger one it says that yours is the biggest… (: Give us a break!! Ask the web page maker that allow the user to change the text size :)

    Blessings

Thank you for your blog, I have been thinking about the usefulness of one…This has been very good for me to hear more about the Truth Project. Also we have seen how the Arabs take care of their property, they don’t!!We were in Israel over 10 years ago and saw the evidence..thanks for your Truth.
